Florida, a vacation area for some but for others a key to a new place of residence, The White House. That being said, this week the republican primary was held in florida and for some it went well as for others not so much. Mitt Romney was the victor beating out Newt Gingrich (the next closest candidate) by a 24 point margin. This author beleives it was because of the women's vote. He believes that due to Newt's bitter woman troubles the vote has been heavily skewed in Romney's favor. " But what we do know is that a gender gap that was not much in evidence in South Carolina surfaced with a vengeance one week later in Florida" says the author. He also states that the republicans should abide by the 11th commandment which is "thou shalt not attack a fellow republican" (Ronald Reagan), and believes that they should forgoe the negative campaigning and focus on beating out President Obama.

     This being said, it leads me to analysis. Since it is already about one side of the spectrum it is already somewhat biased, but it clearly leans towards the conservative view point. I know this because he does not slander the republican candidates nearly as much as a liberal author would. He explains how he would rather the republicans run a clean campaign and just get Obama out. He feels as though if the republicans don't run as much of a dirty campaign now there will be less of a chance the Obama campaign will have ammo to use against them.

I agree with him. I believe that if they dont call eachother out now the Obama campaign will not try to ammo to use against them because it will only make them look bad later on. I also believe that it was gender that forced Newt into a far second place. My biggest upset is that Ron Paul came in third with a very low seven percent. But either way i agree that if negatives are called it will only fuel the Obama fire and there will be less of a chance to get him ot of the oval office.

Me, Myself and I

     Hello, my name is Robert Louis Reppucci Jr. I am eighteen years old and currently attend Bunkerhill Community College. I grew up in Medford, MA and still reside there. I have a girlfriend named Katie and she attends Fisher college. We have been together for almost 3 years now. My intrests include hanging out with Katie, my friends, cooking, cars and watching tv and movies. I am hopefully going to figure out what I want to major in in the near future but right now I am leaning strongly towards engineering.

   On that note, in the future I plan on transfering schools. My hopes are to get into Tufts University because they have an excellent engineering program. I didn't do to well in high school so Iam looking forward to improving my gpa throughout college and like Isaid hopefully transfering to a four year university in the near future. I do not know what I want to do after college there are a few possibilities I have consided including graduate school and the military.

    Well thats me in a few paragraphs. I enjoy current events and contemporary issues and took classes about them in high school. So,I hope I enjoy this class and I hope to do well. thats about it, thanks for reading.
